Harry J. Hutchings

	Harry J. Hutchings, age 67, of Pinckneyville, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2000 at Pinckneyville Community Hospital at 3:30 a.m.
	He was born on September 12, 1932 in Tamaroa to Thomas H. and Dollie Ann (Knapp) Hutchings.
	Harry married Marie Bird September 6, 1951 in Pinckneyville and she survives.
	He worked for the Illinois Central Railroad as a Railroad Engineer for 43 years.  He was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ, Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and VFW.
	He is survived by his wife, Nora (Bird) Hutchings of Pinckneyville; son, Scott (Patti) Hutchings of Pinckneyville; son, Curtis Hutchings of Pinckneyville; son, Allen Hutchings of Pinckneyville; son, Bob Hutchings and special friend Sarah of Pinckneyville; daughter, Pandy (Clarence) Spangenburg of Oakdale; daughter Ginger (Mike) Smith of Pinckneyville; daughter, Sandy (John) Hartmann of DuQuoin; daughter, Deanna (Paul) Vuichard of Pinckneyville; daughter, Theresa (Jerry) Heine of Pinckneyville; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a half-sister, Alfie Chapman of Pinckneyville.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, 10 half-brothers and nine half-sisters and one sister, Doris Woodside.
	Services were held Friday, February 18 at 11 a.m. at the St. Paul UCC Church in Pinckneyville with Rev. Karen Knodt officiating.  Burial was at the Mueller Hill Cemetery in Pinckneyville.
	Friends were able to call at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home Thursday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. and again on the day of service from 8 until 10:30 a.m.
	The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the donors choice.
	Military Graveside services were provided by the Presswood-Daffron American Legion Post #2504 of Pinckneyville.
